The Drama Is Present:

Ariane Koch’s play Sick Dogs tells the story of our exhausted society and of the absurdities of our healthcare system in a thriller-like tour de force full of linguistic wit, sophistication and fast pace, touching on a question that has been particularly pressing since the outbreak of the pandemic: What do we do with all these sick bodies?

Accompanied by musician Nadja Zela, Koch has created a literary-musical performance to be tried and tested on stage for the first time in this book launch event with special guest Marie Rosa Tietjen from Volksbühne’s ensemble.
