This year, the literature award endowed with EUR 15,000 goes to Milena Michiko Flašar. The prize-giving takes place on 26 May 2025, 8 p.m. at Roter Salon, Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. The award ceremony also celebrates the 15th anniversary of the A und A Kulturstiftung.  Volksbühne actor Sophie Rois will read from texts by Milena Michiko Flašar, accompanied by the Berlin-based koto player Ritsuko Takeyama.
